During the day, when you can routinely check and change your baby's diaper, double absorbency isn't generally necessary with cloth diapers. However, during those longer periods where you can't as readily change your baby's diapers, such as during nighttime sleeping or on long trips where frequent changing may not be convenient or possible, adding a second FuzziBunz insert to your baby's diaper provides the necessary absorbency to keep moisture away from your baby during those longer periods.
With many children, daytime diaper wearing requires only a single insert. However, if your child is a heavy wetter, you may want to purchase additional FuzziBunz inserts so the absorbency may be doubled during the day as well as night time.
